A Prayer to Commerce Lies for Fact

A weeping mess, absolutely believing all types of lies about herself, I held my sobbing daughter in my arms as I did when she skinned her knee as a toddler. To her, the sting of what she felt was equal to a bloody knee. The heartache poured out as we unraveled one lie at a time.
“You are not fats… you’re fearfully and splendidly made.”
“You are not misplaced… you might be right here for such a time as this.”
“You don’t really feel cherished… however you are- I like you- God loves you …and you might be by no means alone.”
Countering lies with the Fact God speaks over us is essential. We’re His valuable creation. Scripture assures us His coronary heart aches together with ours.
